Services / Construction progress monitoring

A consistent aerial record of the build, from bare site to handover.

Regular aerial imagery, survey-grade mapping and edited video captured on a set cadence and tied to the construction program.

Why fly it

One capture a month settles a lot of arguments.

A fixed set of vantage points, flown the same way every month, gives the project team, the client and the board a record nobody has to interpret. Progress claims, delay discussions and variations all get easier when everyone is looking at the same time-stamped picture.

Add mapping and the record becomes measurable: orthomosaics to check layout against design, volumetrics to verify earthworks quantities, and 3D models the team can walk through from the office.

What we deliver each capture
  • Fixed-vantage progress stills, same angles every visit
  • 4K aerial video walk-around
  • Georeferenced orthomosaic of the site
  • 3D model and point cloud where required
  • Volumetric earthworks and stockpile quantities
  • Short month-on-month comparison update
  • Milestone flights: slab pours, topping out, watertight, completion
  • Completion showreel and full-build timelapse
What you get

A deliverable, not a folder of photos

Monthly progress set

Time-stamped stills and video from fixed vantage points, organised by month so anyone can flick back through the build.

Orthomosaic and 3D model

A scaled top-down map and a 3D model of the site each capture, viewable in a browser or imported to your design tools.

Volumetric report

Cut, fill and stockpile quantities calculated from the survey data, ready to check against claims.

Completion media

An edited showreel and timelapse of the whole build for the client, the board and the marketing team.

Typical jobs

Where this earns its keep

  • New industrial facilities and plant expansions
  • Civil and earthworks packages
  • Structural steel and cladding programs
  • Infrastructure and utilities construction
  • Client-side verification of contractor progress claims
  • Records for dispute avoidance and insurance
Common questions

How often should you fly?

Monthly is the usual base, with extra flights at milestones. Fast phases like steel erection may warrant fortnightly captures.

Is the mapping survey-grade?

With RTK positioning and ground control it is accurate enough for progress verification and volumetrics. We will tell you the accuracy achieved with every dataset.

Can you start after the build has begun?

Yes. The earlier the baseline the better, but a consistent record from any point forward is still valuable.

Who owns the data?

You do. Every dataset is delivered in full and licensed for your use.
